Kauai Adventure

Scott and I enjoyed a magical 10-day visit to Kauai in September 2009. This, my first trip to Hawaii, included visits to all four sides of the island. We hope to go back one day. Until then, I created this album to help us remember each of our adventures while there.

This slide show is set to music so to enjoy it fully, please ensure your speakers are on before hitting the play button. To view the slide show in full-screen format, click on the four small arrows at the right bottom corner, just above the credits. To exit full-screen mode, hit Escape.

If you prefer to view each page so as to more easily read the text accompanying the photos, use the arrows above “captions” and “credits” to scroll through the album, rather than view it in slide-show mode.

3/28/2013: Hi Janie & Scott, Barry and I had lunch last week with Betty and we asked about you two. She told me about your blog so she sent me the link. Wow! You are one talented lady and quite the photographer. I looked at all your pictures and they are wonderful. How great that you have been feeling good and able to travel. Loved the music with your pictures too. We are fine, busy with life, church, family, eBay, Barry’s projects, trips here, there and everywhere but it has to be within the US. Barry isn’t really big on travelling internationally, yet anyway. Can you believe that he and I have been retired over 10 years now? It was 10 years on December 20, 2012. Where has the time gone? We understand you are travelling in a Airstream these days? How fun. We did the tent camping thing then graduated to the cab-over camper, then the 17 ft travel trailer then the 23 foot 5th wheel. Been there, done that. Now we camp at hotels. Works out much better for us! Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and let you know we think of you from time to time. We wish you and Scott God’s richest blessings as you enjoy life together. Maybe we’ll see you sometime in the future. We’re still in Glendale so would love to meet for coffee, lunch, whatever one of these days. My cell is 602 316-4687. Later!
