About

Anyone involved with horses knows there is nothing like the bond between a human and a horse. The relationship is one of deep trust and respect, where each relies on the other for their well-being. From the simple acts of making sure feed and water buckets are full, and a horse has a safe place to live, to the more complicated actions of providing safe carriage over a swift moving creek or to a successful performance in the show ring, this bond of trust is like no other.

Cowgirl Chronicles, will share my adventures with horses. I’ve had a horse in my life since I was a young cowgirl and continue to enjoy the many activities and responsibilities that come with horse ownership. I’ve kept horses at boarding stables, in my backyard in a city neighborhood zoned for horse keeping, and in the country on my own “ranchette.” I have competed in a number of disciplines, trained young horses, judged and I continue to trail ride all over Southern California.

When not in the saddle, I work as a public relations and marketing professional. I have written and shared the stories of companies large and small, as well as those of other horse people and their businesses. I’ve included some of these stories and articles in the portfolio section.

Thanks for visiting and joining me on the next ride!
